Our first calf to be born at the farm came today!

In a simple and smooth transition, I ended up with some ground and 10 young cows. It’s been a longtime dream to grow grass and beef. This isn’t how I saw it happening, but when doors open, you buy cows! 🤷🏼&zwj;♀️ Looking forward to lear

I like being stopped mid thought for a frame. It feels honest and keeps me watching.

This sums up the daze and awkward fumbling of finding normal for us.
